Amazon offeres two selling plans for its sellers:
- The Pro selling plan available for a $39.99 monthly subscription fee plus per-item selling fees, which vary by category. Amazon advises opting for this plan if you are a seller selling more than 40 products a day. There are no fee charges per item that sells on Amazon.
- The Individual plan where there is no monthly subscription fee, instead, sellers pay $0.99 per item that sells on Amazon plus other selling fees which include the referral fees and the closing fees, which vary by category.

Using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) services to pick, pack, ship, and provide customer service for your products incurs additional fees as well. This fee is calculated based on the product category, its dimensions including the height, breadth, and weight.
